Students in my class need working headsets to better utilize their school-provided laptops. Parents sent in headphones and earbuds at the beginning of the year, but these just cannot stand the wear and tear of use all year long by second graders. With the use of steady and reliable headsets, students could complete customized learning assignments on their devices without interrupting instruction in small groups. During guided reading time, these headsets would be a life saver for keeping the class on task! These headsets would allow us to be more productive during learning centers, and read more online books as well. Focus and attention to instruction delivered via computers would increase with the use of headsets for each student.
