My students would benefit tremendously from opportunities to select different forms of seating that meet the needs of their energetic bodies. The seating options I am requesting will allow students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand and help keep their young minds more alert and focused. My students have an abundance of energy and short attention spans, so remaining seated and still for long periods of time is not natural. Traditional chairs do not offer the body the movement my students need that would help them stay focused, calm and engaged. I am so excited to have flexible seating system in the classroom.
