My sensational students with Autism have a fascinating curiosity of the world through active exploration. Whether through touch (tactile), smell, movement (vestibular) or deep pressure touch (proprioception), my kiddos are active and on the go from the bus drop-off. They just love visiting my Sensational Sensory Palace, because it offers them respite from the classrooms. They enjoy working with soothing textures, sniffing aromatic familiar scents and of course playing with toys most suitable for their developing hands. All of my students were remote learners since March 2020 and have been craving therapeutic sensory play from the first day back into the building. This safe haven will give my friendly kiddos the optimal learning setting for them to reignite their exploratory motivations, thus sparking new learning and LOADS OF FUN.
