My students love to make things at their Maker Space! With these Cubelets, students will be able to make and invent in a way that our 'non-technical' maker supplies won't allow. Cubelets will encourage students to interact with their science learning in a new way. They'll be able to engineer and build robots that can solve a problem or collect data, showcasing their learning at the level that the Next Generation Science Standards and an ever evolving technology sector demands. Further, instead of doing something of little educational value with their downtime, students will have the opportunity to head to the MakerSpace and build something with Cubelets. This mini robot kit is so versatile that it can be incorporated into any of our science units. It will also motivate students who might not be as excited to interact with class material. This type of 'hands on' activity is important as we come back to school from virtual leaning My students have so many awesome ideas and ways to approach problems- we just don't always have all of the materials available for them to show them. These Cubelets will give them the opportunity to stretch their creative thinking and give them an edge by teaching them building and coding alongside science content.
