My students love to work together in the Block Area. This project will be used to enhance this area, as my students work to to build structures that will help to promote their mathematical skills, including but not limited to the use of patterns, spatial relations, counting, estimating, geometry, shapes, addition, subtraction, and positional words. As the students sit and work together on the new carpet and furniture, they will collaborate while building great designs and creative structures. This will enable them to work together as they enhance their social skills and their ability to use problem solving skills

About my class
