My pre-kindergarten students have varying exceptionalities and also have some parents, who are still working during this pandemic. Consistent printing resources and technology are limited for my low-income families and an unrealistic expectation for everyday use. Providing weekly packets with some pages in color will encourage ongoing home-learning for their pre-academic and developmental skills along with relieving some stress on these families during these tough times! For example, The letter of the week will have pictures of different items that start with that specific letter, and the student's will be given a copy of picture cards in color so it's easier for them to associate the words with the objects while building vocabulary.
