VersaTiles will give my students an opportunity to practice and get engaged in screen free one on one activities. The VersaTiles classroom kit for fifth grade is aligned to the NCSCOS. I used them years ago in a lower grade level and they had a huge impact on student involvement and student achievement. I plan to use them in small groups for much needed practice after a skill has been taught. I will also use them to differentiate and reinforce skills previously taught to reinforce mastery. VersaTiles are self-check materials which will also allow for students to check their own work without feeling like someone is watching over them. They can feel confident about finding and correcting their own mistakes.
