I really want my students to get excited about reading and literacy so that they will start reading more for enjoyment. All of the novels on my list were requested by students as being books that they would love to read and experience. I am working on getting them placed in my classroom so that they will get excited to read something on their list for enjoyment as opposed to what I am assigning them to read. These books and materials will help me improve as a teacher and help my students succeed in improving their reading and literacy. The teaching resource books will help allow me to enhance my literacy instruction to help engage my students more and focus my teaching on the areas of literacy that are the most crucial.

About my class
