To help more appropriately meet the sensory and educational needs of all my students, to assist them better flourish and grow, I hope the materials I am seeking will improve the quality of their day and education. My students need extra sensory output or input than some of their differently abled peers. The wobble stools, sensory circles, and vibrating cushions will help them maintain their focus for longer periods of time to remain seated while engaging with the task at hand. The batting gloves, sequin boards, and sensory sleeves will give my students the extra sensory input they seek for their arms and hands. Not only do the students need varied and specific levels of sensory stimulation but they can highly benefit from using adapted school supplies such as the easy grip loop scissors. The ABC and number floor circles will help incorporate movement into their language arts and math lessons, helping to improve their gross motor skills as they move around the classroom. These tools can serve as a springboard to using other things to write with and broaden their educational horizons. I know the equipment I am seeking will be incorporated into our daily schedule nicely to help assure the highest level of success.
