Students and teachers alike want to return to the classroom to learn and we are no different. As a teacher with an autoimmune disease, I'm nervous about the potential the fall may bring as the number of COVID19 cases continues to rise. Masks are not mandatory in our county or school, in my classroom desks are elbow to elbow and rosters are to the limit. As the CDC announces that COVID19 is indeed an airborne virus and that data does not exist to determine if children may indeed be asymptomatic vectors of the virus between each other and adults, one solution is to clean the classroom air with an H13 HEPA filter reducing the likelihood of viral spread. I'm a teacher who wants to teach and protect my students. This project is to help my classroom return to learn, safely.
