Most of the children learn by using their sense of touch in order to learn about their world. Because there are different "abilities" in this classroom, all the students will be able to experience learning more fully through the hands-on technology and tactile items. The tactile items will be used to enhance small motor skills with pouring, scooping, filling and measuring. The waterproof /shockproof camera was chosen for the children to be able to "catch the moment" through photography. Some of my students are non-verbal, so this will help them to "talk" for them. The ink for the printer is necessary for me to print off IEP paperwork and pictures to emphasize my lessons that are missing picture cards.
