Our classroom is assigned a set of older Chromebooks. Many of the touchpads are not working properly. As you can imagine, this is not ideal for student learning. By providing students with a mouse and headphones, each of them will be able to better utilize and focus on the online content that is individually selected for them. With twenty-six students working on various types of content at the same time, it is paramount for each student to have their own set of headphones. Student independent learning time will be transformed to allow students the opportunity to listen and hear audiobooks and videos clearly when they are assigned for truly an independent learning opportunity.
