My students are band and orchestra musicians in grades 6-8 in one of NJ's largest cities. They are a growing group of about 80 - and they love to make music! They are an inspiring group of kids, and they really surprise me sometimes with the level of dedication that they exhibit. They get music lessons 2 times per week, and we meet after school as an ensemble once a week. They are very dedicated to the program, often giving up lunch periods to get in extra lessons and practice time.
