I travel from class to class in my school providing support for students with disabilities daily. These students need assistance and specialized instruction to help them over come reading difficulties, attention deficits and a variety of learning disabilities. Traveling from class to class to teach a variety of subjects and different grade levels throughout the day in other teachers' classrooms can be at times challenging due to the individual needs of the students and the different subjects and grade levels. A Surface Go tablet will make my time with my students more productive and my lessons more effective. I would use a Surface Go tablet every time I walk into a classroom to access the online textbooks and resources my students are using at the time so that I can follow along with the lesson, and I can better assist them with their assignments. In addition, the tablet would allow me to access students’ IEPs, meeting notes and contact information right away when consulting with teachers. I could take notes on the tablet with the stylus and have online access not only in the school, but also when attending meetings and professional development sessions outside the school. With the Surface tablet, I will have all the information I need throughout the day at my fingertips.
