The convenience of having a printer in our classroom will allow my kids to become more independent. Some of my students need to be escorted to and from and cannot go the the library by themselves to use the printer. I also have a few students in wheelchairs. Having them be able to have easy access to print their own work will look for the independence they need as a teenager. Lastly this printer will allow me, as an educator to be more prepared and have constant access to scanning and copied as needed. In our school we only have 4-5 printers and they are all located in the first floor in the library. I am on the second floor and it makes things hard when every teacher in the school needs and uses these same printers.
