The content readers will enhance the curriculum and support my student's knowledge as we begin the journey of merging academic knowledge with real life culinary activities which demonstrate how temperature changes the state of matter. They will understand some matter is reversible and some forms of matter is irreversible. We will make home-made ice cream to show how temperature can change matter into a solid. We will pop popcorn and make Mickey Mouse waffles to learn how heat can change matter. They will investigate whether these changes were reversible or irreversible, after the activities. They will respond to questions by explaining what they think in their Science Journals.
