Raised Beds are waiting for students to sow the seeds and plant a beautiful garden in our schools courtyard. Your donation will enable my 4th grade students to have the tools necessary to complete this project!. Students will design a butterfly garden to attract local species. An herb garden will be used to grow herbs that will be used to create healthy meals in our home and careers classroom. Rain water will be measured in our garden and data will be submitted to globe. Local farmers, college students and community gardeners will work with students on skills such as composting, identifying native plants, and learning the science behind what makes a garden grow!
