This equipment will help students with special needs be more successful while playing games and activities. I will use this equipment at six different schools, and it will be enjoyed for many years by students with special needs. This equipment will be used to help students with special needs improve their fitness levels, sports skills, and their personal health and wellness. I will use the nutrition and hygiene activities in health lessons to help reinforce my school district's health lessons. The modified basketballs help students learn how to dribble and because the balls are lighter and smaller, it is easier to shoot a ball at a regulation height basket. The equipment, such as the hand weights and exercise bands, will also increase their fitness levels in the areas of muscular strength and endurance. The projector and speaker will be used to play exercise videos, virtual reality interactive games, and sports skill demonstration videos.
