These materials will make a wonderful difference in my students' learning! The students entering my room are being consolidated from six different elementary schools in our district. Students are already overwhelmed with changing to a new school with a lot of new people. Our stark white walls, ridged seating and super bright fluorescent lights fall well short of creating a warm atmosphere. I need help to make our classroom feel cozy and warm so they enter and feel like this can be their safe place. By adding flexible seating, color on the walls, and decorations, students will be comfortable, motivated and inspired to work hard! It's been proven that when students are comfortable, more learning will happen, more relationships will be built and more successes can happen!
