I would like the materials to allow the student to create a professional oral history. This may be of themselves, their family, or members of their community. Also, I want them to understand how they, their families and communities are and important part of Austin history too. The recording equipment will help them create polished products and encourage detailed thoughtful work. I feel that if they have professional equipment they will create polished professional oral histories.This will help them become better historians with a personal touch. Hopefully this will create a mindset that they are important and their community is important.

About my class
