Having a technology center will teach my prekindergarten skills for using the equipment. Online learning, using the internet responsibly, and educational apps. Especially in the state, we are now with hybrid learning or virtual learning, my students need to be prepared on how to use technology on their own. The teacher will also use the tablets for small group learning, to teach the students the Google classroom for language, math, science, and social/emotions. The learning experience can extend to home learning with parents that have access to our Google classroom learning centers. Also if the need to go back to live online learning the tablets can be used for the children who don’t have access to computers or tablets at home. When Covid=19 hit after Spring break half of my students were unable to attend live online. Due to not having access to a computer or tablet. They missed live online learning with me and social time seeing their friends. Losing four and half months of learning that they needed for Kindergarten. My school services more than 70 percent of families in the low-income bracket. My classroom is mostly teacher funded and there is nothing I wouldn’t due for my students. For them to have the best education possible, only because they deserve it. Thank you for any assistance with our project.
