Computer Science is a fast-paced ever-changing field of study and education. My personal professional development will be amplified throughout Northern Nevada as I return from the Jr. Botball challenge and share with the six districts I serve as a CS facilitator. Sharing the excitement and fun of applied CS and problem-solving skills, learned from the Botball Challenge will be shared with teachers and students in Northern Nevada. Students will learn that challenging problems can be overcome through collaboration, perseverance, and applied skill sets. Teachers who are now required to teach CS not only need training in the CS standards but need the opportunity to apply the teaching of such standards.

About my class
