The Counseling Department at our school has scheduled a trip to Pinot's Pallette in Brooklyn, NY during the month of March. We run a girls group during various lunch periods for our students so they have a safe space in our building where we come together to learn from one another. The purpose of this trip is for them to have an opportunity for our female students to travel outside of the Bronx, which they rarely do, and have a calm & relaxing day away from our male-dominated school. This trip will help our efforts in creating sense of camaraderie, support and empowerment within our school community.

About my class
