We started the school year with distance learning and it is not looking likely that we will be going back to school in person anytime soon. I love incorporating art into our core subjects, but also just experiencing art for art sake. My students need a calm escape from the stressful times we are currently in; art can be that escape. My project includes Different art supplies. art is a peaceful art of doodling. In the past my students have loved when we practiced art; they enjoyed the calm and the quiet. I want my students to have their own art kits at home so that we can continue learning similarly as we did in the classroom. These kits they would not be expected to return to me, so they could keep creating art even when I wasn't instructing them.
