Access to a digital library will increase my students' reading potential and increase their love of reading. With your support these iPads will allow the teacher to spend face to face instruction during center time. These iPads will allow students to access books at their level and practice first grade phonics. Students will be able to choose stories and get excited over the endless possibilities. Students love electronics and hands-on learning. Young children absorb the stories they hear and see in print. These students do not get exposed to the vocabulary necessary. Many of my students also have language barriers and funding this project will help expose them to a world they deserve. New iPads will inspire students to dream big!
