I like to enrich my lessons with fun chemistry labs for my students. The labs help them to actually see reactions taking place and they help them understand the concepts being taught. They also show them that chemistry is all around them, they just need to watch it! Flame Lab and Types of Chemical Reactions Lab are two of the favorites among students, but can be harmful to the eyes if students are not wearing protective safety goggles. The goggles we have in the class for the students use are extremely old with scratches all over them, broken bands, and the don't fit over prescription glasses. We would really appreciate a new set of safety goggles that will make performing labs much easier!
