Our students spend time meeting multiple times a day in our community school setting. This rug will allow our students to have a cozy space to learn, play and grow in our classroom community. We will utilize the rug for morning meeting times, read aloud times, as well as mini-lessons prior to any independent practice. Developmentally, kindergarten students need to be moving around the classroom and by having this rug, we will be meeting the needs of all students in our community. This carpet will also allow students to have a cozy spot for their bodies, teaching them to understand their own spatial awareness.
