This year I have a wide range of abilities in my room. Many of my students struggle with decoding and sight word recognition. I am in need of a color printer and ink to print colored literacy stations I’ve already purchased. These literacy stations will allow all students at all levels to have a hands on approach to their learning. Student will be working within specific areas of need or be challenged in areas of phonological awareness, phonics, word work and sight words. My higher students will sort, categorize and alphabetize words. Colored literacy stations make pictures easier to see and identify. Color helps students stay engaged. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
