These items will help my students focus better by appealing to their senses of comfortability. The light covers help with the harsh ceiling lights and give the classroom a more inviting, outside feeling. The colored paper will improve reading skills and focus the eyes better than regular white paper. Not all students want to sit in the chairs that they have been sitting in for every class. Some of my students ask to stand or sit on the floor to get out of their seat but leaning over gets too uncomfortable after awhile. By letting students be more comfortable, they will be more apt to paying attention and continue to learn.
