All of the students in my class have such different needs. From difficulty working in a traditional chair to the strong florescent lights, my students strive to do their best with our current classroom set-up. These alternative seating options and light curtains will allow my students to better focus in on instruction and stay engaged. Currently, the students all have the same, traditional seating options: just the classic chairs. I want my students to be able to move around better as well as have their own choice of what to sit on. With the high-energy and activity level of second grade, the items in this project will foster my students' love of learning.
