With these book bins, students in my class will be able to have a plethora of different reading materials within their reach everyday. Our classroom library has many different books to explore, but is not big enough for all students to look for books at the same time. Donations to this project will allow my students to take ownership of the books they choose, discover new genres of books that they haven't explored, and find a deeper love of reading. With book bins, my students will spend less time waiting to get a book from the library and more time being immersed in reading. My students will have a designated time each week to choose 10 books of a variety of different genres from our library to read throughout the week! As of now, my students end up searching for books longer than reading them. Book bins will give us a great system to stay organized and save time in the classroom!
