These materials will help my students in a small group setting learn how to blend and manipulate sounds to read words. The students will be able to manipulate the cubes to create both real and nonsense words. They will then be able to blend the sounds together to read the words they have created. Students need multiple opportunities in a variety of different ways in order to learn. These materials will give my students another way to learn to read. All students have the ability to become successful readers if given the chance and the right materials to do so.

About my class
