My goal is to build a classroom that is rich in conversation, collaboration, and community. From a morning message that greets my students as they walk into the classroom to shared readings, poems, songs, and math talks. Having a new easel will allow all of my students to engage equally with new academic experiences. This easel can move around the classroom and will allow me to hang chart paper and pocket charts, as well as write messages. The smaller table top easel will allow for small group learning. With a new easel, my students will be able to come up and share their ideas, discover new information, and add on or ask questions.
