First grade is a critical year in the development of reading skills and access to high-interest books covering a wide range of reading levels is key to helping students not only develop their reading skills but also a love for reading. My classroom is in need of books at lower levels that are engaging to them. With these leveled book sets from Lakeshore, my students will have access to many titles, in varying genres, at various levels. It will give a solid start to our classroom library and provide these little learners the opportunity to get lost in a book of their interest. The bis and labels will help organize them so they are easy to choose from.
