I am looking to get some flexible seating options for my special education resource classroom. My students have very active brains and bodies. Providing them with flexible seating options where they can wiggle around will help their minds focus for the amount of time that they are in my classroom. When they are able to do this, it helps with sensory input which stimulates their brain and helps increase focus. This is especially helpful for students with ADHD, ADD and on the Autism Spectrum. Flexible seating will allow them to bounce, lean, or wobble which will in turn, make them more comfortable and create an optimal learning environment.
