It is my goal to have a classroom library with several genres and sections to appeal to all types of readers. In doing this, I will provide a place where students can explore books of many genres. My library will provide ongoing support for students to become life long readers. Providing my students with immediate support from my classroom with titles they have requested will help plant a seed to become readers. Instilling a love for reading will create a generation of readers who are excited to teach and read to others. This spark in my classroom may start the fire to inspire others to read and open their own doors.
