The student/athletes will utilize the GoPro to record their performances while at practice. This device will allow several forms of feedback to evaluate and improve their performances. They will analyze their swim technique and compare it to proper form. We will discuss how their form is hydrodynamically efficient or whether it is creating drag in the water. They will also be able to see the arm and leg angles while swimming to determine if the angles allow their hands and legs to engage the proper muscles for maximum force. The GoPro Fusion records at 360 degrees allowing the athletes to also evaluate their turns without moving the camera. The GoPro is also water-resistant allowing for this recording of our practice.
