This full set of micro:bits would allow Creative Computing to engage students remotely by providing one micro:bit to each student. micro:bits are designed to create accessible and tactile means to learn coding and computer science with a fun creative project-based approach. These devices come with programmable built-in features like buttons, LED display which also can work as a light sensor, movement and temperature sensors, compass, and radio communication between micro:bits you can create animations, night-lights, step counters, simple games, thermometers and more. micro:bits are affordable mini-computers that students can use to learn creative applications of computer programming. This set would enable students to have learning opportunities that build a strong foundation of knowledge in both computer science and innovative emerging media art practices. There are many projects that we will be able to do with micro:bits that will empower students and support them to develop their confidence as lifelong learners and creative problem solvers.
