An effective classroom community includes a variety of elements. One of the most important aspects is classroom organization. Organization is demonstrated through classroom supplies being accessible and available to all students. Supplies such as headphones, markers, colored pencils, and pencil sharpeners are all key elements to class projects and the environment. In my classroom, group projects which include poster making and other creative activities are run by these supplies. It is also critical that these supplies are successfully organized within the classroom so that the learning environment is not hindered by the chaos that can come from disorganization. The use of technology is a daily activity in my classroom, and often headphones are necessary. We use our class set of computers for almost all learning activities. Students come in in the morning and get started right away on vocabulary and reading activities. These include verbal commands which require headphones. The learning possibilities are endless when all aspects of our technology can be reached.
