This project uses STEM and mathematical games to engage the students in learning. These games will also create a active learning environment. Learning is more productive when the students are engaged in the learning process and having fun! These games will be used to differentiate instruction based on the learner's needs. These small groups will benefit from these hands-on activities. The students will create cooperative STEM groups that will learn through engagement and play. These STEM and mathematical games will increase the student knowledge and therefore also increase the student learning gains. I have also introduced my student to classroom transformations. These games will not only be used in DI stations and small group instruction, but also at a larger scale during classroom transformations. STEM is needed in today's changing world! It requires critical thinking and problem solving skills. In education today, Many girls and other minorities do not feel that a future in STEM is a possibility. I want to provide my students with the tools needed to be successful global citizens of the 21st century. Science and math can propel these students into a successful future.
