My students are a very diverse group, and I want our classroom library to reflect that. That's why I'm hoping to add these titles, many of which are high-interest books to help hook struggling readers. We need more basic supplies to help make our classroom as literacy-rich as possible. Easel pads will let us create revolving word walls and anchor charts for each new topic or text. Whiteboard film will help cover the damaged whiteboards in our class that are not usable. Replenished basic supplies like pencils and sticky notes (for annotating class books) are essential to the learning process.
