My students spend the majority of their day on the carpet. Whether if it's for independent reading, classroom discussions, centers, or whole group instruction. With a class full of 24 students it can sometimes feel a little crowded. Having this carpet will allow my students to have their own personal space and will help create a more comfortable instructional environment for them. This will help minimize distractions and maximize instruction time, by having a square assigned to each student. It will take away the time wasted on the students trying to find a spot to sit on the carpet.
