I am asking for stage makeup and craft items that can be used to create set models as projects in class. The makeup accessories will give my students the opportunity to dive into the makeup design element of Technical Theatre. They would be able to go beyond the drawings they create on paper, and see their designs come to life. The craft materials will be used for students to think about set design in a more practical sense. They would be able to create box model designs for our Technical Theatre unit, and it can also create a growth of interest in Theatre, outside of performance. Overall, this project will give students other opportunities to excel in Theatre, outside of performing on stage. It provides a safe space for artists and designers, as well.
