Fostering a love for learning begins by providing an engaging print rich environment where students are excited and comfortable to learn. My students are always excited to dive into a fresh new book and look forward to that moment where they can find a comfy spot in the class and get lost in the magic of storytelling and reading. As a new teacher building her library the books selected will provide my students with fun and engaging material that will continue to spark their love for reading. In addition, the rug selected will be added to my library this will further enhance the overall reading experience and provide an opportunity for students to focus , collaborate and read. Next, the printer selected will be used to demonstrate visual representations for lessons which are imperative in the learning process of all of my students especially my English language learners. Last the math manipulatives will be used to reinforce tricky standards that students may need additional support with.
