Students only have access to a few class reads, but we do not have a library and students do not have the money to purchase books to read. I would love to have books for lit circles that are high interest and engaging for them. They will get excited and learn basic skills and how to think and analyze and discuss books. Some requested titles include Bless Me, Ultima, Fences, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. We also are in short-supply of classroom items like staplers and pencil sharpeners. Kleenex is always in short supply. They should be able to get quality learning without worrying about materials. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
