All of my students come to me daily with learning deficits in reading, writing, math and behaviors. Each of my students have an IEP and several have BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plan). Although they have learning struggles, they still have a strong desire to learn and investigate the world around them. At times, it becomes difficult to motivate and differentiate due to their frustrations and the lack of technology. If we are funded, these 5 Chromebooks it will allow students the opportunity to receive differentiated instruction during independent learning time from researched based programs such as Reading Eggs, IXL Math, Discovery Ed, BrainPop, etc. We live in a technology world and that is how this generation of learners are proving they learn best. Having Chromebooks at their fingertips will provide my students with a safe and secure place to help them explore and learn with a variety of resources. The Chromebooks donated will provide my students with engaging options that will help to meet their educational needs.
