Not only is my classroom without many basic supplies (like a whiteboard), but my students are also largely unable to access their own basic supplies for class. I am trying to bring my students a little comfort, knowing that they will walk into my room and have everything they need to learn effectively and have some fun. I particularly want to be able to implement systems in class that reward outstanding behavior - helping others, making mistakes and trying again, being kind, asking for help, being generous. I don't want to give food or candy as prizes, but instead give fun school supplies, books, etc, and for this, I need some help.
