I am looking to add more options for flexible seating in my resource classroom to provide my students with choice as well as a healthy working space. Research shows that flexible seating options can help students stay alert and focused. In addition, students will also have various options for movement while being engaged in the lesson and/or working independently and I hope flexible seating will maximize their best effort during their time with me. Having different seating options will allow them to make choices regarding how they learn and focus best and will help them feel more excited to be pulled from their peers to come work with me.
