The five tablets will be used during differentiated instructions. Differentiated instruction is implemented in the morning, during the reading block and in the afternoon during the math block. During differentiated instruction, my students will be divided into three work stations: Teacher-Led Center, Technology and Independent Center. With the implementation of technology in my daily teaching and learning routine, the five laptops will be given to five students in the technology group on a rotational basis to access interactive reading lessons based on the curriculum.
Technology in the classroom is to prepare the students for life. Consequently, the donations to this project will provide my students with the experience and exposure of accessing information by different means which will advance their learning. With these laptops, students will come to realize that there are other resources that can be incorporated in the classroom to enhance and increase their learning.
With your support, I will be able to expose my students to another means of technology to enhance and enrich their learning.
