I teach in a multi cultural community where we strive to encourage our students to accept and embrace diversity. We are working on several projects that require artistic expression so that students can promote the uniqueness of individuals. With a large project such as this, we are in need of several art supplies like markers, canvas and a screen printing kit to provide the students with a variety of resources to expand on their creativity. Our plan is to create areas around the school that give inspirational and positive messages both through words and visual images. We are looking to place encouraging quotes on restroom stalls and mirrors using the Cricut machine, have canvases to paint people from history who have impacted our students to place in the halls, and more printer ink to include photography that demonstrate images of the success of our students both inside and outside of school.
